create campaign's
2022 impact report

From entrepreneurship education to approving loans, Create Campaign makes a difference and is standing in a lane of its own. Create Campaign is the only minority business development nonprofit in Wichita with:

a microloan fund and the ability to approve loans, a home repair program with repairs performed by approved minority-owned contracting firms at no cost to homeowners

and the nationally-recognized Rising Tide Capital Community Business Academy model and  framework to instruct entrepreneurs in Wichita and across the state of Kansas.

With multi-year funding commitments from numerous corporations to capacity grants from the Kansas Health Foundation and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Create Campaign hired two directors, is nearing ground-breaking on its training space and has added Spanish-language capabilities within the nonprofit to serve even more entrepreneurs.

With seven years of inclusive entrepreneurship service experience and hundreds of diverse entrepreneurs served, Create Campaign continues to make

THE DIFFERENCE.

WHAT OUR PARTNERS ARE SAYING ABOUT
CREATE CAMPAIGN

Wichita City Councilman Brandon Johnson - Wichita City Council District 1

“It is Martin Pringle’s honor to have had the opportunity to work with Christina and Create Campaign from the very beginning. Through the formation of Create Campaign, the acquisition of a brick & mortar storefront, and helping urban entrepreneurs formally establish their business, partnering with Christina & Create Campaign has helped our attorneys connect with urban entrepreneurs in an authentic way, and, we hope, make access to legal services a little easier. Create Campaign has expanded its reach by bringing nationally-renowned resources to Wichita through the Spark Community Business Academy and expanding into the Kansas City and Omaha areas, and we are excited to see that expansion continue to impact more urban entrepreneurs.
We are proud to be a partner of the Create Campaign and look forward to what the future holds for this great organization!”
Kim Doze-Lohmann - Director of Marketing, Martin Pringle
.

“We have found the Create Campaign to be one of the most effective ways to connect African American and other under-served entrepreneurs with resources that help them start or grow their businesses.”
Steve Radley - CEO, NetWork Kansas
.

“INTRUST Bank is proud to support Create Campaign’s mission to activate entrepreneurs in our community. Through their stewardship of the
Spark Community Business Academy, we’ve seen first-hand the impact when a community works together for the success of others.”
Cecilia Thibault - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategist, INTRUST Bank
.

“Create Campaign has been a tremendous source of support for the Center for Entrepreneurship’s
efforts to bring early stage ideas into the innovation ecosystem being built in this community.”
Mark Torline- Business Leader
.
“Working with Christina and the Create Campaign has allowed us to better understand the needs of the minority business owner community and while there is still work to be done by professional service firms in the business community, the Create Campaign continues to be a guiding light and inspiration for all of us.”
Richard Stevens - Attorney at Law
