LEGAL CLINICS
MARTIN PRINGLE is teaming up with Create Campaign, Inc. to offer legal clinics for entrepreneurs seeking insight on business matters.
30-minute appointments are available. All sessions take place at
FOUNDERS' GROVE, 2333 E. 21ST ST. N.
A non-refundable $25 booking fee is required to secure your space.

All spaces for the 2020 cohort have now been filled.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In an effort to provide ongoing professional development and training to minority businesses, Create Campaign, Inc. presents Prosper. This initiative provides contractor education in collaboration with Kansas Business Services.
Participating contractors will then be eligible to bid on home and neighborhood improvement projects generated by residents who have been impacted by the installation of transmission lines in central-northeast Wichita.
Those residents will assist Create Campaign, Inc. in awarded funded contracts to companies participating in the Prosper Community Contractor Collective.
Additional details about community notification and the awards process will be posted soon. Original meeting plans have been postponed due to restrictions on gatherings.
CONTRACTOR PARTICIPANT CRITERIA

Must be a legally-structured, for-profit entity as defined by the Kansas Secretary of State's Office and/or operate using an EIN

Must have a minimum of one-year in business

Must show business activity in 2019

Must be a Wichita, Kansas-based company

Should be a socially disadvantaged company as described by the U.S. Small Business Administration

Must carry business insurance

Must agree to the terms and conditions of program

Must pay enrollment fee of $50, which covers materials and meals
The Prosper Community Contractor Collective is funded by the
Evergy Investment Fund at the Wichita Community Foundation with additional funding support from Koch Industries

PROSPER COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
This project will fund exterior home improvement and property improvement projects submitted by homeowners at no cost to them. More than 350 homeowners in the Wichita, KS project area submitted applications for consideration.
Project area: Zip codes 67208, 67214 and 67219 within the following boundaries:
North: 21st St.; South: Central; East: Oliver; West: I-135.
More than $50,000 in repair projects have been approved. Work began in August 2020.
Prosper is made possible by the Evergy Community Investment Fund at the Wichita Community Foundation with additional funding support of the Koch Industries.
